Lemon Mustard Grilled Mutton Chops


2 garlic cloves - crushed
2 tbsp grainy mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
3 tbsp olive oil
4 mutton chops


  • Whisk together the garlic, mustard, lemon and oil until evenly combined
  • Add the chops and turn to coat evenly
  • Cover and chill for several hours or overnight
  • Under a medium heat, grill chops for 5 minutes per side
  • Place in a warmed dish, cover with foil and set aside in a warm oven to rest for 5 minutes
  • Seaon with salt and freshly ground black pepper and serve imediately
